Good Bye :(

So, I decided to change up something.

So, I'm originally supposed to give up the internet. But I can't do that because since I'm in yearbook club, I need to go on the laptop to upload pictures and stuff. & I'm making a gift for someone so I need it. SO. I'm going to give up myspace and aim and blogging and online shopping for Lent. I hope Jesus understands.

So,
I'll tell you about my experience when Lent is over.

I give up.

February 25th, 2009 is the day I give up.

No silly. I'm not giving up on life. I'm giving up things for Lent! Lent is approaching faster than a racecar in a racetrack ! or as Ariel said, "Lent is approaching us as fast as life passes through us." So Rochelle, what are you going to give up?

What am I going to give up you ask? Well, the first thing I'm going to give up is the internet. I'm on the laptop/computer 24/7. So, adios computer. "You can't do that Rochelle. If you do, you're going to sit and cry." says the words of an encourager. It's a 99.9% chance I can't give up the laptop, but there's a o.o1% chance I can. I'll only use the internet if it's needed for a school assignment. Jesus will understand :D. I got the idea of giving up the internet because there was a long period of time I couldn't use the laptop. It broke. So I was stuck w/ the computer (which is also kinda broken). Since I had no patience for the slow computer, I didn't go on at all. So, I wasn't on for 2 weeks ? 3? Since I got my Nikon while the laptop was getting fixed, it occupied the rest of my time. Enough about giving up the internet...

Second thing I'm going to give up is fast food. "YEA ROCHELLE. YOU'RE SO FREAKIN FAT. GIVE UP THEM FAST FOODS. LOOSE SOME WEIGHT WOULD YAH?!" says I. I love french fries from mcdonalds, burger king, jack in the box, & where ever they sell french fries. w/ the fries I get a burger. yea. My fat self gets a burger. dang I'm fat. Anyways, maybe I'll lose weight during lent and spend the fast food money on things that are needed. Better yet, SAVE THE MONEY. *new years resolution. Probably after lent, I'll just get fast food once a month. Or just straight up not get fast food anymore. Man I'm gonna miss the sweet tea. haha

I have one more thing to give up and it's shopping but, I know I can't do that. I get clothes every time my sister's off.

As you can see, I'm pretty much surrendering things a person can't surrender for lent. 40 days will be a long time, but all the hard work will pay off. Maybe while I give up the fast food, I'll be a size 2 ?;) NOT.

I'm out. About to watch some basketball.

So, the LAST battle of the books competition is tomorrow and it's on Here There Be Dragons. DAAANG MAAAN. I have to reread that book by then od sixth period tomorrow and memorize that whole book so we can WIN. we already lost 3 and won 1. daang.

My procrastinatin a double s is getting waaay out of hand. So, I'm going to try and read it after secret life.

What's up w/ the weather ? It keeps on changing!!!!! Everytime I want to go outside and ake pictures it's raining !

YESTERDAY ! It was a rainy day. Then in second period it was sunny ! THEN IT GOT RAINY AGAIN AT LUNCH. stick with something sky. I never know what to wear for school too. I look outside it's raining. When I'm waiting for Ariel, it's sunny ! GAHLEE.

Yeees. I am a proud owner of a Nikon d60. FINALLY. I played with it all day today. I experimented with the settings and 'I'm lovin it'. But my mom told me to put it away because I was playing with it too much. haha. My laptop is still getting fixed but once I get the laptop, I'll be able to post pictures :)

SOOOOO.

I AM POETRY PORTFOLIO FREE !!!! We finally turned it in yesterday. (Also Turhan's birthday) & I am now free ! I don't have to go searching for poems and photocopy poems and blahblahblah. It's finished and now that it's done, I am stress free. But now I have to worry about battle of the books. When that's done, I'll be free also. I'll just have to worry about Yearbook. bleck.

I'm done here. Going to watch Law & Order: SVU.

Monday, February 2nd, 2009 I fell in the locker room. This is how I fell.
So there was a blackout and where my locker is, it's pitch black. So I didn't see my shoe lace untied so then I slipped on it and then fell. While I was falling, I hit my knee on the corner of the bench and when I was on the ground, I didn't want to get up. Now, I have a bruise on my left knee and it's purple. Just like my favorite color. So know my knee hurts and yah.

I did 2 analysis today. *mario's voice* IN YOUR FACE! OH! portfolio is due this Friday not that one Friday I said in the other blog because Ms.Merrick changed it.

February already?! WOWERZ. Well anyways, my resolutions are doing grrreat ! I haven't drank soda since dec. 27th. I haven't cussed. Well that's a lie. I have but only like 3 times a day. It's not intense like last year. I haven't been saving money but now I am. I'm paying my sister back. woo hoo. 20fine is fine! :)

Well I'm going to skidadil now. I don't even know if I spelt it right but yea. I'm going to TRY and do more stuff for my portfolio and read Treasure Island because that's the next book to do on the Battle of the Books Competition. Good night ! :D
